31 New Place Street, Wallingford, Connecticut:
A rare example of an octagon house, this Yalesville home built in 1856 is one of two eight-sided dwellings on New Place Street. The octagon style was popularized by famed phrenologist Orson Squire Fowler during the 1850’s.
