Smith-Stiles House, Middletown, Connecticut:

Located at 15 Pleasant Street is a Second Empire “double house” constructed in 1871 at the start of America’s Gilded Age. The home is a part of Middletown’s South Green Historic District, created to preserve the historic character of the city. The district is 90 square acres and features high-quality architecture from the late 19th century. The mansard-roofed Smith-Stiles House is now used as a boarding home, called Hogan House, for Middlesex Hospital.
