Simon Smith House, Haddam, Connecticut:
This Colonial Cape-style house at 974 Saybrook Road was built around 1745 – a year before Simon Smith married Eleanor Parker. Their sons sold the property to Noah Clark’s family who owned it until 1941. The house was restored after a fire in 1982.
