Great Meadows Marsh, Stratford, Connecticut:
This tidal marshland is located near the Lordship section of Stratford. Great Meadows is part of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge which protects about 70 miles of undeveloped coastal habitats in Connecticut (created in 1971). Approximately 270 species of birds can be seen around Great Meadows at different times of the year.
