
John H. Woodruff House, Plainville, Connecticut:
At 53 East Maple Street is a late example of Greek Revival style architecture. This antebellum brick home was built around 1860 for John H. Woodruff, one of the incorporators of Plainville when it became a town in 1869. He married Lucy Ann Adams and they were parents of five sons and six daughters.
