Briggs-Stueck House, Middletown, Connecticut:
At the intersection of Washington Street and High Street is a restored Queen Anne style dwelling. The picturesque abode was built in 1892 for Daniel Luther Briggs, a one-time Mayor of Middletown. It’s purposely asymmetrical and highly decorative. The exterior features a floral motif, terra cotta tiles, corbeled and patterned brickwork and wood stick work. Nowadays, the property is used as a law office.
